Trump Addresses Rally Interruption, Urges South Carolina Voters to Support Darline Graham in Runoff

Former President Donald Trump delivered a striking message to an individual who disrupted his campaign rally in South Carolina on Friday evening, suggesting the protester's mother would disapprove.

The incident occurred around 7:28 p.m. at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center. A protester stood up and caused a disturbance before being escorted out by law enforcement and venue staff, according to reports from the White House press pool.

As the individual was being removed, Trump briefly paused his address, directing his attention to the commotion.

"That's all right. That person's going home to mom. Gonna get scolded because mom is voting for us. You know, mom is voting for us," Trump stated before resuming his speech.

Campaigning for Darline Graham

Trump's visit to Myrtle Beach was to rally support for Darline Graham, who is competing in Tuesday's South Carolina Senate runoff election. He implored his supporters to participate in the vote, despite his own name not appearing on the ballot.

"If Trump isn't actually on the ballot," Trump remarked while discussing Republican voter turnout, subsequently asking attendees to "pretend, please, that I'm on the ballot."

He underscored the importance of their participation: "Just come and vote. It's so important. So, just say that I'm on the ballot one more time. You got to say it, and you got to come out and vote."

Trump shared that he personally encouraged Graham to seek office and presented his rationale for her election to Washington.

"With your support, Darline will defend common sense in our nation's capital," Trump asserted. "She'll fight for lower taxes, bigger paychecks, no amnesty for illegal aliens. And she'll always protect your Second Amendment, the right to keep and bear arms."

He further added that Graham would be a strong advocate for the nation's military.

"But as much as anybody in this Senate and maybe more, Darline will support our military," Trump stated.

Graham later joined Trump on stage, expressing gratitude for his endorsement and for his friendship with her late brother, former Senator Lindsey.

"Thank you, Mr. President. Thank you for your endorsement. It has meant the world to me," Graham said. "Thank you for your support. Thank you for coming to South Carolina. This is MAGA country, right?"
